hi, i'm Nick
I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Performing Arts Technology and a Minor in Writing. My studies focused on audio engineering, recording, editing, and mixing. For my minor, I concentrated primarily on topics related to music and sound, which included research on advanced psychoacoustics.
I am extremely passionate about writing and producing my own music. During my college career, I composed, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered two full length albums, Nowhere to Hide (2020) and Fire Escape (2021). As a trained jazz pianist, my sound incorporates rich harmony into compelling pop singer-songwriter arrangements.
The past three summers I have worked as a Media Special Projects Fellow for University of Michigan Academic Innovation. I have worked with audio editing and mixing for various University-affiliated media projects using Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. I am currently seeking opportunities in audio engineering, and collaboration with other musicians as a producer and songwriter.
