About Me
I am a jazz pianist, singer-songwriter and music educator currently getting a Masters of Music in jazz piano from the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts Technology, I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2022. In Denver, I taught piano lessons and worked as a recording engineer at an audiobook production studio before deciding to begin my master’s in jazz in 2025.
Currently, I study piano with Downbeat award winner Dana Landry and previously studied with Milwaukee Jazz Institute founder Mark Davis. Musically, my focus is jazz, but I also have a lot of experience as a singer-songwriter and playing indie-rock, hip-hop, electronic, fusion and neo-soul. My musical goals are to master the tradition of jazz and continue to refine my creativity for songwriting and playing different genres.
As a teacher, I seek to work with students to meet their personal goals and help with jazz theory and improvisation, songwriting, pop/rock, and other various focuses. From my undergraduate degree, I also have experience in music technology; I am proficient in DAWS such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro X and am comfortable with recording and mixing a variety of genres. I am currently booking gigs and offering piano lessons in the Northern Colorado area.
